Gang-

So lately I've been playing WOW and I must say that the artwork in that game is truly inspirational today. I get a lot of inspiration from the games I play. I've been working on a lot of new art studies and character designs for Warriors of Purgatory. This one is a short update. My birthday is coming up soon and I have therapy tomorrow. Joy of joys. :( My external hd broke, the USB port literally came off its hinges and is floating around inside the case. I either need to get the case replaced or simply just buy a new external. I'm heavily leaning towards the later. I wanna pick up a 1TB external hd so I have memory to play WOW and grab all the patches when they come out. Anybody out there know how duel speccing works?

Anyhow, I will have work uploaded possibly this weekend. I'm trying to finish up some stuff so that I can have some finished work and practice coloring again. I picked up Seashore again. I actually like that program a lot, I also have a program called Pixen. It will be particularly crucial to my trade to learn how to color things effectively. If any of you colorists out there can help me out, I would definitely appreciate that. Anyway, things have been fairly quiet on my end. I am working on a secret web-comic project. So I'll have stuff for that posted as soon as pages are done, and the owner of the webcomic clears me to do so. In any event, I have Warriors of Purgatory, and a few other things to keep me busy.

I hope everybody out there is being as productive as I.

My copy of Soul Nomad finally arrived in the mail this weekend! I dig the game. It's a kick-ass storyline, but I would have loved to see more of the NIS franchise's traditional features. I would have liked to see more Disgaea-type stuff in the game. I understand they were going for a different product and a different franchise but there were elements in the game that I'm seeing (So far anyway) that I'm not digging. I DO think that the whole concept of the squad system is pretty rock-solid. They just needed a system where you can grind against constant enemies. Unless there IS one and I just haven't progress to that point in the game. I know about the Inspections system but I think its kind of weak.

isnt the game fucking great! im really glad they just decided to do something totally new its refreshing you know. as for the inspections system its not the greatest but it works you can battle monsters based on your level and get points for your field and upgrade that! over all i was very impressed.

Of course. I am simply trying to help out people where ever I can. You have a lot of skill, I just want to see you improve your skill level and become a much more dynamic artist. You have the talents within you! You just have to dedicate yourself more to art study as a whole rather than parts. But I digress. Once again, I am very happy to hear of your success in life, keep up the good work. And don't worry about your English, just keep studying and you will be just fine!

By the way sweety, I just figured out how to get X-11 on my mac yesterday morning. Which means I now have GIMP on my computer as well as Open Office. Do you have any tutorials or tips for GIMP that could help me out to become a good digital painter? I have long been interesting in learning how to do digital manipulations of my artwork. Let me know what advice you can give me. Your tips are always appreciated.

Yeah I have looked through them and enjoyed them quite a bit. I enjoyed looking through them and use them for reference. I've found a few websites with GIMP tutorials do you know any really good ones? Anyway thanks for all the critiques and the tips. I am grateful for all of them.
